BOARD OF DIRECTORS
William D. Taylor, President of TGC
Born in Costa Rica in 1940, and raised in Latin America (dual nationality—Costa Rica and USA), investing 17 years at Seminario Teológico Centroamericano, Dr. Bill Taylor (ThM, DTS; PhD, University of Texas) is founder-president of TaylorGlobalConsult. He served the Mission Commission of the World Evangelical Alliance as its Executive Director for 20 years and another 10 as senior mentor.
TaylorGlobalConsult was established in 2011 as a strategic platform to continue his global ministry. Bill is a widely published author and speaker in English and Spanish. He has served the global missionary movement for 55 years in teaching, leadership development, church planting, global networking, consulting, mentoring, writing and speaking. He and Yvonne were married in 1967. Yvonne, a native Texan, is an accomplished pianist, an intercessor and watchwoman on the walls. They have three adult children born in Guatemala, and eight grandchildren. Their home is in Austin and they worship and serve at Christ Church-Anglican.
Howard Morrison, Morrison Ranch, Gilbert AZ, Chairman, TGC Board
Howard serves as our chairman. He and Jana have been married 35 years and live in Austin, TX. They have three adult children, two of whom are married. Howard earned a B.S. in Agribusiness at the University of Arizona and received his theological training at Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.) and Phoenix Seminary (D.Min.). He served on pastoral staff in local churches for eight years.
For the last 25 years he has worked with his family in Gilbert, AZ in the development of a master plan on their families’ farm. Howard also serves on the OC International board of directors. Howard enjoys reading, traveling, camping, with a new interest in pottery making. He and Jana worship at Christ Church of Austin, Anglican.
Charles Holcomb, CPA, PC
Charles serves as Treasurer and was involved with the founder in the initial establishment and obtaining the IRS Exempt Organizations status for TGC. Following graduation from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas and an earlier career in banking and finance, Charles subsequently established his own accounting firm, currently serving numerous clients with a primary focus in the area of trusts and estates. Charles and his wife BJ have been married for 24 years, live in Austin and have one daughter, one god daughter and one granddaughter. Charles & BJ (also a CPA) are members of Austin Oaks Church and their ministry focus is centered in their accounting practice.
Hugo C. Morales Van Amburg
Hugo earned a BA in Business Administration from John Brown University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Dallas, Texas. He has worked in sales, marketing and advertising with The Leo Burnett Company, Procter and Gamble, and New Zealand Dairy Products.
A member of the continental board of COMIBAM (Cooperation of Missions of Iberoamerica), he later served on its Executive Committee leading the teaching team, as its Development Director and facilitator of Strategic Alliances. He has given seminars in the Americas, Europe and Asia on the topic of Strategic Alliances for the Luis Palau Association, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, the Lausanne Movement, the VIVA Network, and the International Sports Coalition. Hugo is also a member of Interdev Partnership Associates, and of the Executive Board of Vision Synergy.
Currently he is a Board Member of Universidad Mariano Gálvez of Guatemala, a private university with over 100,000 students in Guatemala, whose founders (his father among them) were all young Evangelical professionals. He oversees projects in the areas of International Relations and Institutional Planning.
Hugo is a founding member of Centro Bíblico El Camino, where he currently serves as an elder-pastor. He and his wife, Rhoda, have been married for 35 years, and are the parents of Megan (married to Nasair), Kevin, and Steven (married to Gaby) and the proud grandparents of three.
Emily Padula
Emily (RN, MHI, FACHE), is a registered nurse with a master’s degree in healthcare innovation and a fellowship in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Her experience includes executive healthcare leadership, strategic planning, organizational development, and patient care. Her most recent professional role was at Hill Country Memorial Healthcare, where she served as chief strategy officer and led the organization’s achievement of the 2014 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. In 2016, Emily was recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the nation’s 50 Rising Stars under 40 in Healthcare Leadership.
As a member of a college-focused church, she and her husband, Ben, led the global outreach program and trips for students. She currently serves as a vestry member at Christ Church of Austin. Her passions include excellence in care for the vulnerable, being a sender of globally-minded people, and adventuring together with Ben.
